The band Silver Proof was founded at the end of 2008. We've put a lot of work in it until we got the result that we wanted. We had a lot of different singers. In May 2009 our singer, who was with the band since December left us. We had to find somebody quick, and we decided to call back a girl who sang in our band before.

Since then, we have five members in the band:
Nagy Babos Rebeka (vocals), Katona Tamás (drums), Sentes Zsombor (bass), Demeter Lilla (rhythm guitar/vocals) and Imre Júlia on the solo guitar/vocals.

In the begining it was very hard for us to form our band because Kézdivásárhely is a pretty small town and it was difficult to find musicians who had a similar taste in music as we had. It took almost six months for Tamás, Dzsulsz and Sentes 'til they decided to play together in a band. Later we found our rhythm guitarist, Lilla and after her we had to find a singer. There were a lot of different singers.

Some of them didn't like us, we didn't like some of them, but in December 2008 we found Szabó Csilla. She was in the band for five months, and we managed to write two original songs with her. At the end of April 2009 she left us, so we were on our way to find a new singer - again. Fortunately, we found Rebeka, and now she's a part of the band as everybody else
is.

We don't like to define our style because there are no limits in music, but we are sort of and indie/alternative rock band. we write our songs only in English.

Many people ask us, that if we are Hungarian, why do we write our songs in English? Well we think that it's way easier to express yourself in English, than in any other language. In Hungarian it would be quite hard to write down everything that is so easy to write down in English.

We would also like to play in bigger concerts in foreign countries, where Hungarian songs don't mean to much beacause nobody understands the lyrics. We hope that one day we'll be able to do something with this thing that we started and that people will eventually like us and our music.
